Volunteers

General volunteers who pick up a hammer for the first time, dab a brush into paint can, help with yard work or contribute behind the scenes are invaluable. They coordinate details, run errands and take on special assignments.

Our skilled construction volunteers are experienced in building trades and crafts, and many have been in the business for years.

A general volunteer with the commitment to pitch in might learn something from the veteran. An experienced pro might acquire insight from a younger apprentice who puts a unique slant on the tasks ahead.

What's important is the sense of teamwork and camaraderie evident in all volunteers throughout the course of the day.i

Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is also seeking volunteers to serve on its various committees.

Committee Volunteers

2006

A Rebuilding Day is when Rebuilding Together Twin Cities assembles volunteers along with donated building supplies and repair materials to provide services to qualified homeowners or non-profit community centers.
Each Rebuilding Day is funded in part by local sponsors who provide chartable donations, and in some cases, help secure construction and home-repair equipment to assist with specific needs.
